The city’s home of meetings, conferences and events, Manchester Central, is once again inviting the public back beneath its iconic vaulted arches for an open house day.

Featuring a photo exhibition, shared workspaces, various sessions and a tour of the building, visitors can stop by from the strike of nine on the historic station clock.

Alongside a free venue tour and photographic history of the former train station, the open house includes a range of educational sessions: 5 Ways to Wellbeing and Introduction to Mindfulness, both by local mental health charity Manchester Mind; Manchester: A Destination for Business, a two-hour session from the GM Chamber of Commerce with Night Time Economy Advisor Sacha Lord joining for a discussion of the city’s growth and future, and a conversation on the nature and meaning of innovation by Elevate.

For any visitor with remote work obligations, the shared workspace operates throughout the open day, while those with a clear schedule can wander at their leisure while trying the coffee and ‘world-famous’ homemade brownies.
