FKA the Joshua Brooks basement, Versions has already established itself with a strong underground launch line-up. Tonight 50% of proceeds and 100% of donations go to the Christie NHS Foundation Trust. Blackpool grime lord Afghan Dan performs a live set, with selections from Benny Ill, Sivey, Soloman, Inka with Berry Blacc, Luke Leadbelly, Meelo, DJ LZ and Tijani on mic. Typically seam-bursting fun from the H&R crew.

The best-named David Bowie celebration in Manchester, a sequel to last year’s cosmic event. Loads of live bands covering the greatly-missed Duke, plus DJs all day from 2pm – 3am.

Sat 25 Feb – Community Hosts Carnival Brasil @ Texture
Irfan Rainy pulls another unique party out of his bottomless and very soulful bag. Brazilian percussionist Claudio Kron Do Brasil and his band Papajaca bring Rio to the rainy city. Expect all styles of Brazilian beats from selectors, plus percussion classes preceding the club night.

Sat 25 Feb – Mancunity presents Hip Hop For The Homeless @ Indigo, Withington
A 7pm-2am explosion of live local hip hop in support of Manchester’s homeless people. All money raised will go to Lifeshare, who provide outreach and support services for those on the streets.
Free, donations welcome on the night
