Love Dose and Hidden team up to present a night of top house music this Friday, with a double header featuring Novel Sound bossman Levon Vincent and Chicago hero DJ Deeon. This one should be a great balance of both the smooth and rough ends of the genre’s spectrum and Hidden is the perfect venue for it.

Sat 21 May – Swing Ting @ Soup Kitchen
We’ve got two of our favourite DJs/people playing at Soup Kitchen this Saturday, in the shape of Hipsters Don’t Dance, aka Kazabon and Hootie Who. Champions of party music from all sections of the globe, expect plenty of soca, afrobeats and dancehall. As always, Fox will be hosting proceedings, with Joey B, Samrai and myself holding down the warm up/cool down. Still just a fiver on the door, there’s plenty of bang for your buck here, especially with the SK soundsystem firing on all cylinders. We’re super excited for this one.

Wed 25 May – Jamz x Chow Down @ Soup Kitchen
Elijah & Skilliam’s excellent, multi-city Jamz parties are coming to an end in Manchester, and they’re teaming up with the city’s own Chow Down to give it the send off it deserves. Jersey’s Uniiqu3 headlines proceedings – and her raucous take on Jersey Club music is sure to get to the club popping. Butterz’ own Elijah and Skilliam barely need any introduction, but these two grime (and more) kings are at the top of their game right now. If that wasn’t enough, Chow Down’s own Finn, Craig AD, Fallow and Grizzle will be ensuring that this is a leaving party to remember.

With pre-sales floating around the £10-15 mark depending on when you’re reading this, any fan of the label would be crazy to miss this 12 hour Hypercolour birthday party.
