Wed 24 Sep | Project 13 x Codes ft Visionist | Soup Kitchen
Project 13 celebrate the launch of their label’s first release with a party in association with super-hyped crew Codes. Darko and Codes label-owner Visionist have been carving out their own respective niches in the grime arena for a while and should be a perfect fit for Soup’s basement/big soundsystem combo. Support comes from P13 residents Acre & Luke Leadbelly.

The second part of Soup’s grime double-header sees another collaboration, this time between Manchester stalwarts Chow Down and LDN-based label Local Action. Thu 25 Sep | Roska & Moxie (pictured) | Joshua Brooks
Joshua Brooks gets a treat this Friday, as two of the leading lights from two of London’s leading radio stations headline. Rinse FM’s Roska has had a huge influence on the UK dance scene for years, right from the inception of UK Funky to his present-day take on whatever you want to call bass-heavy music these days. Moxie, of NTS, is an impeccable DJ – a point underlined by her residency at Benji B’s Deviation clubnight. Always comfortable between a wide range of BPMs, this’ll be a set well worth checking out.

Manchester’s premiere drum and bass night returns to BOTW, bringing with it two Exit Records heavyweights in DBridge & System. Guaranteed good vibes, with a great crowd and one of Manchester’s best systems – there’s only one place for the DnB heads this weekend.

Sat 27 Sep | Hoya:Hoya ft Illum Sphere| The Roadhouse
This month’s Hoya features a heavy triumvirate of residents on rotation throughout the night, ably backed by Fox on the mic and Emmanuel Biard on visuals. Illum Sphere is going from strength to strength, with his contribution to the fabriclive mix CD series incoming. Jon K & Jonny Dub are exceptional, with the ability to draw for all styles in a party-starting manner. Always eclectic, but never gratingly so, Hoya has been one of the best things to happen to Manchester’s clubbing scene ever since it started way back in 2008.
