Covert & Exploit have revealed Sam Divine as the next big name to headline their summer techno and house series at Gorilla. One of the jewels in the Defected Records crown, seven years ago Divine seamlessly made the move from dance music connoisseur selling other artists’ records at Chemical Records in Bristol to playing her own tunes to ever-growing audiences in Ibiza and beyond. She also spends her time as an ambassador for Breast Cancer Research, having raised £27,000 for the charity, but is more renowned for her floor-filling beats spun throughout the soulful house scene. Covert & Exploit’s resident disc jockeys man the ones and twos for the warm-up before Sam Divine leads the shape-making through to the early hours.
