Tom Allen & Suzi Ruffell | The Lowry | Thu 2 Mar | 8pm | £10/12
Having supported the likes of Josh Widdicombe and Sarah Millican, comedians Suzi Ruffell and Tom Allen (respectively) are ‘hitting the road’ themselves to showcase their own full shows. Ruffell takes a look at her own family’s dodgy history with her third hour long show ‘Common’ and Tom Allen will also be showcasing his new hour of acerbic wit and hilarious anecdotal works. A great chance to see two top comedians for half the price.

Tim Key | Gorilla | Sat 4 Mar | 7pm | £15/13
Another first Saturday of the month, another astonishing line up from Group Therapy. Any one of their four named acts could comfortably headline the show but they’ve decided it should be comedy’s poet laureate Tim Key that takes that honour with comedian’s favourite comedian Sean McLoughlin and American comic Omid Singh in support, plus Foster’s Comedy Award winner Phil Ellis holding the reigns as compere.
