Tickets are now on sale for October’s Manchester Folk Festival, the urban multi-venue carnival of contemporary folk music taking place across the Northern Quarter, with another raft of huge names recently added to the lineup.

Granny’s Attic

Taking place from Thu 19 to Sat 21 Oct, Manchester Folk Festival offers three days of incredible live concerts across some of the city’s most iconic venues, including SOUP, Night and Day, Matt & Phred’s, The Castle Hotel, St. Michael’s and the stunning Halle St. Peter’s, while Band on The Wall hosts a late-night festival club led by emerging artists.

Celebrating diversity and evolution across the genre, the festival gathers a wide range of accomplished artists who collectively represent the broad church of contemporary folk music. Alongside the raucous, innovative sounds of Bonfire Radicals, the line-up so far includes Riognach Connolly & Honeyfeet, Granny’s Attic, Blackbeard’s Tea Party, noughties indie-folk icon Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly and more.
