Channel 4’s supper club pops up in Salford
Salford is to host a Mauritian-inspired supper club for a new Channel 4 series where amateur chefs run their own pop-up restaurants for one night. The event will be co-presented by Radio One’s Alice Levine and TV presenter Laura Jackson, and will form part of a series of six short films.

Celebrate Oktoberfest with Grub
Grub will celebrate the closing weekend of Oktoberfest with a festival of Bavarian-inspired beer from Blackjack, Runaway, Wild Beer, Siren Craft – plus Germanic food, provided by Bangers & Bacon, who will be dishing up wurst and schnitzel, as well as Wood, Fire & Smoke, providing flammkuchen straight from a wood-fired oven.
