Food and drink news this week includes food and drink festivals across Bolton and at Levenshulme’s Klondyke Club, a Bank Holiday Blackjack brewtap bonanza, a new tasting room and wine school at Salut, Action Against Hunger’s moveable feast with the best of Manchester’s chefs and more.

Bolton Food and Drink Festival 2017
It returns for another year of food tasting, demos, stalls selling goodies to eat immediately and to take home, plus a whole host of special events. Chefs showcasing their talents include locals Robert Owen Brown, Jessica O’Keeffe, Adam Reid, Aiden Byrne, Andrew Nutter, Polly Guy, Andrew George and many more. Events that catch the eye include pasty and beer tasting with Simon Rimmer and beer sommelier Annabel Smith, where guests sample six of Bolton’s favourite pasties and plenty of matched beers; and a Made In Bolton three-course dinner prepared by Aiden Byrne served in the festival marquee. Levenshulme Beer, Gin and Food Festival at The Klondyke
The team behind the wonderful Levy Market are moving their feast over to The Klondyke Club for Bank Holiday Saturday, a mere two minute walk from the usual site. There will be plenty of street food, beer and gins on offer, as well as arts and crafts stalls, music and fun. Head down to party with them.
