This week’s food and drink news features a film screening, a brand new creative space for Chapel Street, and the return of one of the city’s top wine fairs…

The Wonder Inn hosts Just Eat It screening
The Real Junk Food Project is currently building a whole restaurant in Shudehill’s The Wonder Inn made entirely from donated, up-cycled parts. But in the meantime, the organisation this week hosts the first Manchester screening of Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story, a documentary investigating food waste in the UK, USA, and Canada. The event also includes an introduction about the film and Real Junk Food, plus a post-screening discussion. Drinks will be available beforehand.
Thu 24 Sep, The Wonder Inn, 29 Shudehill, M4 2AF, 6.30pm – 10pm, £7, www.eventbrite.co.uk
