Manchester Pride Chamber Music returns for an eighth season of concerts devoted to LGBT composers and performers. Manchester is still the only Pride event in the world that regularly programmes classical music in its calendar and in this opening concert tenor Dom Stewart is joined by pianists Adam Taylor and Rachel Taverner for a diverse programme of keyboard music and songs, including Samuel Barber’s incredible Piano Sonata, songs by Leonard Bernstein and Manuel de Falla, and the UK premiere of Trittico a piece by the American composer Byron Adams.
