Following a successful first event earlier this year, Night & Day Café is hosting Manchester Psych Fest II. This 12-hour shindig is a celebration all that’s new in wonderful world of psychedelic music. Among the myriad bands performing is Gulp, a dream-pop band featuring Guto Pryce, formerly of Super Furry Animals. Also featured is Wartime, a self-styled ‘one-man psychedelic mess’ from Charles Rowell of Crocodiles. The headliner is Clinic, post-punk/noise rockers from Liverpool who have been making a scene for longer than even they can remember. Fresh from recording in LA, alt-rock four piece PINS will be performing a DJ set. Also on the decks will be DJs from Only Joking Records, a label that specialises in vinyl-only releases from local musicians. Act quickly, as tickets are going fast.

Sat 29 Nov, Night & Day Café, 26 Oldham Street, Manchester, M1 1JN, 3pm – 3am (last entry 10.30pm), £15, www.seetickets.com
