A Manchester venue is set to host a baby-friendly rave before Oasis’ gig at Heaton Park on Sat 19 Jul.

Fairfield Social Club has announced a Britpop Baby Mosh, promising an ‘electrifying indie family party experience designed for the youngest of music fans and their grown-up ravers’.

This unique event invites children aged 0 to 8 years old, accompanied by at least one adult, to dive into a world of music, dancing, and child-friendly moshing all set to the iconic sounds of Britpop.

DJ Tom Hardwick will be on decks rolling out tunes from the likes of Oasis, Blur, Pulp, The 1975, Ocean Colour Scene, Elastica, Catatonia, Suede, James, Super Furry Animals, Stone Roses, The Verve, Ash and more. There’ll also be inflatables and creative face painting.

“I imagine this will really appeal to the same people I used to see dancing at 42’s and 5th Ave about 20 years ago" says Jonny Shire, Event Manager for Fairfield Social Club. BRITPOP BABY MOSH isn’t just a party; it’s a chance for you to enjoy the indie classics with your young ones in a safe and fun environment. It’s perfect for anyone who can’t attend the Heaton Park Oasis dates because they have other responsibilities. Or if you are taking the family to see Oasis on the 19th, we have DJ’s on in the beer garden too, so this is a great way to kick off your day!”

Along with the Britpop Baby Mosh, Fairfield Social Club will be hosting events on each day of Oasis’ string of Heaton Park gigs, including DJ sets from Manchester icons Clint Boon and Dave Haslam. For more information, or to book tickets, click the button below.
