Breakout indie-dance act W.H. Lung will play their only headline gig of the year in November at Albert Hall.
Formed in 2017, the band are known for their distinctive sound that blends krautrock, synth-pop, indie and electronic music. Named after the Chinese supermarket on Upper Brook Street, W.H. Lung began life as a studio project before growing into a full live band. Their energetic live shows and three albums – 2019’s Incidental Music, 2021’s Vanities and 2024’s Every Inch of Earth Pulsates – have established them as one of the city’s most talked-about musical exports.
Now, Joe Evans, Tom Sharkett, Alex Main, Hannah Peace and Chris Mulligan will bring that sound back to their hometown for what should be a standout gig. Tickets are on sale now from £21.
