Always transforming musically, American songwriter and guitarist Marnie Stern brings her most recent sound evolution to The Ruby Lounge on Saturday 1 June. Having stripped back her dense structures, Marnie’s newest album, The Chronicles of Marnia, sees her vocals emerge through her trademark finger tapping guitar work and has been met with wide acclaim across the media. But long-time fans, be assured: Stern can still shred (listen to single Year Of The Glad here). Support comes from longtime Lamacq favourites Leeds four-piece Sky Larkin, who take to the stage ahead of the release of long-awaited third album, due later this year.
