It’s a difficult time to be a satirist what with the *actual* news being dangerously close to parody and politicians lampooning themselves every chance they get. So, in order to tackle the issues of any given day the ‘UK’s leading political comedian’ Matt Forde presents ‘A Show Hastily Rewritten In Light of Recent Events – Again!’ to the Waterside in Sale in May. Initially rewritten after the Brexit result, the pile of daftness that has rolled on since that momentous occasion has only given more ammo to Forde and his razor-sharp comic mind. He’s also the talent behind topical Dave TV show ‘Unspun’ in which he continues to try to make any sense of, well, anything at all. For more comedy picks in the city click here.
