This month sees the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for Alec Dudson’s ‘Intern’ magazine – a means of promoting the work of those that are in a densely populated, heavily talented pool of artists and designers unable to get paid work after finishing University. As the cost of education rises though, there is an even greater push for a DIY approach, an innovation Mark Devereux hopes to carry on with his official launch of his project imaginatively titled ‘Mark Devereaux Projects’ (MDP). Previewing tonight at CUBE, Means of Feedback features new and recent works from the organisation’s three inaugural artists: Nicola Dale, David Ogle and Nicola Ellis. Working in different disciplines of sculpture (paper, ephemeral and glass respectively), their work is sure to help along these fascinating artists and bring more attention to MDP and its efforts to showcase artwork from not just Manchester but across the UK. The exhibition continues until Wednesday 17 July.

Preview Thu 11 Jul, continues Fri 12 – Wed 17 Jul, CUBE gallery, 113-115 Portland Street, M1 6DW, Tel: 0161 237 5525, 6pm – 9pm, FREE, www.cube.org.uk
