Bristol’s sizzling summer festival of meat, music and mayhem is winging its way to Manchester to fill our gullets with barbecue and booze. After three years of setting up shop at Bristol Harbourside, the fun will be winging its way to Albert Square for two days this June. In the past, entertainment has ranged from chilli eating competitions, hot rod car displays and street circus to a dedicated BBQ Academy as well as a music stage dedicated to the best in Americana, blues, country, soul and bluegrass from global and local acts. There will be over 20 teams from around the UK competing to be the best in BBQ (we assume Almost Famous, Dirty Dogs and Fire and Salt BBQ will be in the running), which takes place over the two days. Meat is most certainly back on the menu.
