Two new restaurants have joined the list of venues within East Manchester’s new entertainment hub, Medlock Square.
Swiftly following the opening of Radisson Blu’s 401-room The Medlock Hotel, Little Beast and Zadie’s are two of the latest names to join the lineup.
Open now, Little Beast is a small plates-led restaurant ‘inspired by the rhythms of the moon and rooted in the seasonal changes they bring’. Developed by Laura Montana with MasterChef; The Professionals winner Daniel Merriman, with Iain Thomas helming the kitchen, the restaurant celebrates the freshest local produce.
Manchester’s WANT Studio worked closely with the team to develop the interior concept and brand; lead by Liam McCue, Design Director and Adelaide Winter, the creative force behind Albert’s Schloss, The Firehouse & Ramona and Diecast.

Shortly joining Little Beast will be Zadie’s, which opens its doors on Wed 23 Sep. Zadie’s will become the flagship restaurant and bar at Medlock Square. Set high above the square itsel the space offers panoramic views of the South Pennines through vast windows. The Japanese tradition of Itameshi inspires the menu, combining umami-rich Japanese ingredients and flavours with Italian techniques and presentations.
Chef Paolo Bianchi’s, (Zuma, Alain Ducasse, Lucky Cat, Les Grandes Alpes Courchevel 1850) menu features dishes like Caviar, Lobster, Veal Tonnato and Bluefin Tuna meets Nashi Pear, Yuzu Koshu and the citrus punch of vibrant Kalamasi, all of which can be enjoyed alongside high-energy nightly entertainment and a drinks list developed by Award-Winning Head of Bars, Cressida Lawlor.

Bookings at both Zadie’s and Little Beast are open now.
