If you’re nearby Stockport, be sure to take a look at this newly opened community space with a wide range of things for you to get involved in.
The Merseyway Workshop is a brand-new community funded project which has transformed a former shoe shop into a home to creativity, learning, sharing and inspiration. The space features a rolling exhibition, free and accessible creative workshops and retail opportunities for local makers.

The venue will debut with its first interactive exhibition created through a collaboration of Easy Peel Studio and Plastic Shed with creative input from the public. In the future, the exhibition space will see local artists featuring their work on rotation. Alongside a continually evolving programme of workshops, the space provides facilities for you to drop-in and recycle plastic waste that can’t be recycled by the local council.

The retail area of the Workshop is a place where you can view and buy the finest crafts from local artists and makers and help support Stockport’s local creatives. To keep up to date with the Workshop, visit their website or take a look at their Instagram or Facebook page.
