Want to brush up on your culinary skills with the help of Michelin starred chefs? This weekend Tatton Park hosts the northern leg of Foodies Festival, which promises hourly food and drink masterclasses, live music, tastings and samplings. The name is annoying, yes, but the content looks good. The three-day event boasts live demonstrations from chefs Steve Smith (Freemasons at Wiswell), Tim Bilton (The Butcher’s Arms), David Mooney (The Lord Binning), Christopher Holland (The Alderley Edge Hotel) and Neil Griffiths (The Chester Green Bough Hotel) in the Chef’s Theatre. Artisan food from over 100 exhibitors is also promised, while young attendees can learn at the Children’s Cookery School.
