This December, Meredith Willson’s Miracle on 34th Street breathes new life into the timeless festive classic with spellbinding wintry wonder and iconic original songs at HOME.

Featuring soul-stirring songs from the enchanting seasonal story including It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas, HOME’s sparkling production of Miracle on 34th Street promises the perfect escape from the bustling, wind-swept city streets with a joyous dose of seasonal magic.

A financially stricken Macy’s faces irreversible ruin ahead of their make-or-break yuletide sale, and their discontented Santa has quit at the worst possible time. As the Christmas crunch approaches, the shop is forced to trust in a kindly stranger who remains certain that St. Nicholas is real.

When the enigmatic saviour is arrested, however, the fate of the New York department store falls into the hands of a determined child, Susan, who must convince the world that Santa Claus exists, and that the spirit of Christmas lives on.

Formed by a decorated ensemble of multitalented actors with strong links to the North and North West, the Miracle on 34th Street cast includes Adam Vaughan (BBC’s Outlaws, My Fair Lady) as Kris Kringle, Christopher Jordan (BBC’s The Jetty, Netflix’s Lady Chatterley’s Lover) as Mr Macy, Ida Regan (Brief Encounter, Napoleon, Animal Farm) as Sawyer, Jessica Joslin (A Christmas Carol, Matilda The Musical) as Doris and many others, while Harriet (High School Musical, Matilda), Karis (Universal Pictures film adaptation of Wicked, Les Miserables, Oliver!), and Lillie (Steve McQueen’s Blitz, Les Miserables) will each be taking on the lead role of Susan.
