Band on the Wall are hosting a socially distant closing weekender this Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August featuring some of our favourite local artists before they temporarily close until September 2021. Headlined by Mr. Scruff, the chilled event starts on Friday with an after-work live session from local jazz-soul vocalist Kike on their outdoor stage, followed resident DJ Jamie Groovement. On Saturday 1 August, DJs Jim Bane from Eastern Bloc and Andrea Trout are starting things off at midday, followed by live sets from a rising star on the Manchester neo-soul jazz scene, Mali Hayes, plus a trio performance from local Afrobeat-inspired jazz group Agbeko.

Headlining the Saturday session is Manchester club legend Mr. Scruff. His Keep it Unreal residency has been at Band on the Wall for over ten years, making him the perfect act to a close out the venue until they open again next year. All this, plus of course more of Band on the Walls famous small batch gins as well as beers, wines and soft drinks, freshly made pizza and outdoor terrace. What more could you want? Tickets start at £10 per DJ session, with tickets including two drinks tokens. Live session tickets are £15 which also include two drinks tokens. Buy your tickets via the link below.
