One of the defining golden era producers, Pete Rock is one of the true godparents of his genre. His love for jazzy samples defined the east-coast hip hop sound, a sound featured prominently on one of the greatest hip hop LPs, Nas’ Illmatic.
Pete has toured with Roy Ayers, and also produced for Rakim, Public Enemy, Wu Tang Clan, Talib Kweli and Busta Rhymes to name a few.
Expect genre classics and lots of Pete’s own work, including tracks from his latest mixtape with MC AMXXR, who’ll be on the mic on the night.
