A brand new music festival is coming to Manchester in early October. The Neighbourhood Festival is only a one-day affair, but it’s on a huge scale. Ten venues around the city centre are taking part, including Sound Control, Gorilla, The Deaf Institute and Xolo. Over 100 musicians – mostly up-and-coming indie bands – will be performing. The headlining acts are Liverpudlian rockers Circa Waves, and Glasgow-based four-piece Twin Atlantic. Also on the bill is the Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Kate Nash. A full list of performers can be found on the website below. It looks likely to be a popular event – all the early bird tickets have already sold out – so book soon to avoid missing out. Festival wristbands will get you into all venues, subject to capacity.
Sat 8 Oct, Venues throughout the city centre, 1pm-late, £33 (full passes), neighbourhoodfestival.co.uk
