Nell’s unveils festive specials and packed Christmas entertainment calendar

Nell’s has unveiled a series of winter specials and festive entertainment that you can get stuck into over the Christmas period.

On the food front, there are two limited-edition pizzas to enjoy, either by the slice, 14″ or 22″. The BBQ on 34th Street features smoked turkey, ham, green chilli, cranberry BBQ sauce, pickled red onion and roquito peppers.

Meanwhile, the Christmas Brie, O Christmas Brie, is a vegetarian option topped with brie, pink pepper, shredded mozzarella, pickled red onion, cranberry BBQ sauce and pomegranate seeds. There’s also a delightful-sounding truffle gravy dip, making for the perfect accompaniment for crust-dipping.

Along with the signature NYC slices, Nell’s is also, of course, famous for its ice cream sandwiches, and over the next few weeks you can get the Rochin Around The Christmas Tree, Rocher ice cream tucked between two vanilla hazelnut cookies, dipped in milk chocolate and hazelnuts.

For those after dinner and a show, every Thu – Sat at Nell’s Kampus site there’ll be live entertainment. On Thu 23 Nov, there’ll be live band karaoke with SoulFood Music, festive hits with the Urban Soul Choir on Thu 30 Nov, The Fat Britney will be donning the decks on Fri 15 Dec while Born to Be Wild will be hosting a family-friendly party on Sun 17 Dec.

Over at Common, there’ll also be live entertainment every Thu – Sat from 22 Nov – 30 Dec. There’s the Santa Paws Christmas Party with Barkside on Sun 10 Dec, a night of Drag Bingo with Narcissa Nightshade fundraising for Coffee4Craig on Thu 21 Dec and live music with Disco Sounds on Fri 22 Nov and Thu 14 Dec.

Highlights at Nell’s Beagle site include live music with the house band on Wed 13 Dec, more live music and hot chocolate Sun 17 Dec, Dungeons & Flagons board games galore on Thu 21 Dec and a NYE Special with West Rhythm Club and DJs on Sun 31 Dec.
