Piccadilly Place has seen some interesting installations since throwing open its doors to Manchester’s arts and culture community. It’s played host to Panopoly, Dr.Me & Savwo’s collaboration ‘Edition’ and even a Christmas-themed Crazy Golf course. But nothing that those events borne will ever top a three-metre-tall tower made out of 60 kilograms of marshmallow. Manchester-based artists Steve Hockett and Daniel Pickles have sculpted ‘The Intangible Bibelobis’ and will allow pilgrims to come see it this evening at a free event that also features ale from Marble Brewery and a heap of free marshmallows (obvs). Come one come all and witness the mighty marshmallow mountain. It really has to be seen to be believed.
