New art: Spring Spring Spring at Chorlton’s Yuck Print House

As the title suggests, Spring Spring Spring is an exhibition that celebrates the season of spring. Based at Yuck Print House in Chorlton, this will be a collaborative show, bringing together five printmakers, artists and illustrators who are based both locally and internationally: London-based Jay Cover, Italian Sarah Mazzetti, Manchester-based Aliyah Hussain, London-based Leah Stewart and Swiss artist Ronny Hunger will be working with risograph printing to create a series of colourful, playful and lively prints that evoke the spirit of spring. For the first exhibition of 2015, Yuck Print House – which publishes, exhibits, sells and teaches the art of printing – will be drawing together this diverse range of artists to experiment with a series of new prints, inspired by the new season.
