The latest brewery to open their own bar are local beer experts Beatnikz Republic. The award-winning team are opening their first venue this weekend in the Grade II listed 35 Dale Street, Northern Quarter, which shares an entrance with Idle Hands Coffee Shop. The new bar includes fourteen keg and four cask lines which will serve their own vegan beers alongside guest breweries as well as a wide selection of gins, natural wines and spirits. This welcome addition to the Northern Quarter craft beer scene arrives in the wake of Northern Monk at the old Kosmonaut site. The opening party – which runs from noon to midnight – sees bagel specialists, Schmear, providing food on the day.
