Waterside Arts Centre have a track record for showing the best in new comedy – and Adolf and Winston by Bristolian comedy duo, Living Spit, fits the bill. Imagine yourself transported back to London in 1939. British PM, Winston Churchill, realises that he has a hard road ahead. Taking this significant moment in history as their starting point, hotly tipped comedy twosome, Howard Coggins and Stu Mcloughlin have created a hugely energetic and fun show, spanning the course of WWII while proving just how much you can do with a shoddy prop cupboard. Over the course of the evening, the duo walk the tightrope of taste and decency in a show that never falls short of hilarious.
