Edinburgh Fringe’s star newcomer Scott Gibson will find humour in dark places on Wednesday (May 10). The Glaswegian’s show Life After Death tells the unfortunate tale of a Blackpool stag weekend that left him with a brain haemorrhage. Gibson turned that horror into a hit performance that took him from virtual unknown to bagging the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer last year. Expect cheery swearing and a fair few medical laughs. Bringing him to the Northern Quarter is Tales Of Whatever, who have previously hosted comedians Sophie Willan and 8 Out Of 10 Cats panellist Fern Brady.
