Great Northern Beach Club – the pop-up outdoor beach bar located on Deansgate’s Great Northern Square – has announced plans to bring the Mediterranean to Manchester with their new mambo-style entertainment bar, The Sunset Lounge.
From Wednesday 19 May, visitors will be able to book their own private beach hut where they can enjoy cocktails, regular DJ sets, live music sessions and watch a variety of sporting events across summer. A night in these exclusive beach-themed huts include a 42” TV screen, a welcome drinks package and your own personal host – priced from £60. Drinks include an assortment of fresh fruity cocktails and draught beers, alongside vitamin-infused health drinks.
Once inside, punters can soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere and holiday vibes whilst watching the biggest sporting events of the year such as the Euros, Wimbledon and The Olympics. Plus, several additional summer events are in the pipeline like ‘Aperol Weekenders’, the intriguingly titled ‘Bank Holiday Naked Session’ and a few brand collaborations. Their team have also recently teamed up with FLEX yoga to bring early-birds some mindfulness sessions on Sunday mornings.
