Based conveniently on John Dalton Street, Salvis Cucina takes the authentic deli-style experience of their first site in the Triangle and brings Manchester yet more examples of Neapolitan and rural cooking in more opulent surrounds. A reason to visit in his own right, owner Maurizio Cecco serves everything from Naples street food favourites like Arancini Siciliani to Margherita pizzas, and fried salt cod. But Salvis hasn’t built a sterling reputation by playing it safe, and the menu here ventures further off-piste, with dishes like pig cheek, pancetta and Carbonara sauce served up alongside homely favourites like Parmigiana di Melanzane.
