New live bands: Free Vibes at Band On The Wall

Discover the most exciting new bands under the radar with a series of live showcases at Band On The Wall. Free Vibes is a free-entry event bursting with fresh musical talent. On Thursday 3 August, fall for the pop hooks of San Eco and the grunge vibes of Slowhandclap, who will appear with hot new Gilles Peterson tip Mali Hayes and neo-folk songwriter Caoilfhionn Rose. On Thursday 10 August, it’s the turn of Mister Strange, post-punkers Kyotoya, and the rock acts Sonic Bliss Machine and Little Illusion Machine (no relation). And for a post bank holiday lift, get to the Thursday 31 August Free Vibes which features some great guitar acts: bluesy psych-rockers Sauce, hazy jammers The Bleachés, riff-merchants Scarlet Castles and the mysterious The Big Society. All shows are standing, and entry is free.
