After last weekend’s vegan special at their home in Alphabet Brewery, Manchester street food heroes, Grub are moving on to pastures new having outgrown the railway arches of one of the city’s most innovative breweries. It’s sad, but anyone that saw the queues last Saturday will appreciate the need for more space and they promise more of the same great traders in their new space that will be announced in the coming weeks. With extended space they will also be opening on Fridays as well as the usual street food Saturdays and most importantly that their talismanic doorman Vinny will be coming along with them. In the meantime there are still two more Grub mini-festivals planned over the next fortnight so get down now to see what all the fuss is about and then wait with bated breath for the announcement of new digs.

Sat 22 & Sat 29 Apr, Alphabet Brewery, 99 North Western Street, Manchester M12 6J, www.grubmcr.com. Follow @GRUBMCR to keep up to date with announcements regarding the new venue.
