Celebrating 20 years since its initiation, Rogue Studios – an extinct Victorian spinning mill that was converted into over 100 studios for the use of painters, sculptors, woodworkers, designers, videographers (and many other artistic professions besides) – opens it doors for the Rogue Open Studios. Here, visitors can have an insight, not only into the studios that the artists inhabit, but at work that they are creating. During the event, the newly opened Rogue Project Space will be hosting an exhibition, showcasing work from regionally and internationally respected artists, and the first Graduate Residency Award will be given to four selected graduates from North West based art schools. As the largest studio provider in the North West of England, Rogue is a continuously fluctuating hub for all types of art to flourish and the Open Studios provide the ideal event for outsiders to gain uninhibited access into this creative, free, and all-encompassing space.

Opening night, Fri 23 Oct, 6 – 9pm, Opening Weekend, Sat 24 – Sun 25 Oct, 12 – 5pm, Rogue Artist Studios, 72 Chapeltown Street, Manchester M1 2WH. Tel: 0161 273 7492, FREE, www.rogueartistsstudios.co.uk
