New Order will headline the latest in the Live from Jodrell Bank series to be announced at the Lovell Telescope site in Cheshire. The band are also curating the day-long event, on Sunday 7 July, with fellow Mancunians Johnny Marr and electro-indie trio The Whip confirmed, alongside former Bad Lieutenant frontman Jake Evans and Hot Vestry, from neighbouring town Macclesfield. New Order guitarist and keyboard player Gillian Gilbert is likely to perform blindfolded, reportedly suffering from a phobia of radio telescopes.
