New pop-up shop SWAG opens in Northern Quarter

SWAG, a new pop-up shop, has just opened on the corner of Oldham Street and Hilton Street in the Northern Quarter. If the name sounds a little off-putting, don’t worry: it stands for ‘Shop Workspace Art Gallery’. They sell clothing, artworks and gifts that are all handmade by local creatives. SWAG looks to be the perfect place to buy prezzies for loved ones whilst supporting Manchester’s design community. The shop is open Tuesdays to Sundays up until Christmas, with late openings on Thursdays. This may be a pop up, but the owners seem to indicate that it might stick around longer if it proves to be popular.
