MasterChef winner Simon Wood and his team are to open new restaurant WOOD in the First Street area this Friday serving lunch, dinner and drinks. Get a table reserved now to sample the a la carte menu or winning dishes from the show as Wood serves from his open plan kitchen. The restaurant opens on Thursday from 3pm with chicken wings on the house for those who pop in for a drink.
