In his first original theatre show, revolutionary rapper and Guinness World Record holding beatboxer, Testament, brings a synthesis of hip hop and the poetic works of Romanticist William Blake. Blake Remixed comes to Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre in November, championing both modern day music and the anarchistic artists of by gone eras. Expect an unconventional method of storytelling which utilises interactive video, DJ sets and sensational vocal skill, to relay a coming of age tale with a twist. Testament, who has previously worked alongside acclaimed artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae, Kate Tempest and Schlomo, has this time joined forces with Scratch DJ World Champion DJ Woody, to put together this new production.
