Directed by Adura Onashile, There is a Light – Brightlife has been woven together using the results of a two million pound study into the care of teenagers and young people with cancer called Brightlight. Medical researchers, clinicians and patients have all been involved in the devising process and the four young performers involved have direct experience of cancer care. The piece explores what it means to live with the illness physically, mentally and emotionally and has been created by Contact Young Company alongside Brightlight. There is a Light is part of SICK!
