Helping to bring some much-missed artisan food back to the city centre, shipping container culture site Hatch is beginning the first phase of its reopening. From today (Wednesday 18 June), this ever-so-hip Oxford Road venue will feature a click and collect service which will operate from Thursdays to Sundays. High quality street food is available from popular traders like pan Asian experts Fuku, Cyprus restaurant Mezze, vegan faves Herbivorous and (from Friday) KBOM, offering Portuguese and Brazilian dishes. More vendors, including chicken parm faves Parmageddon, will be participating in the next few weeks. Customers can browse the menus via the Good Eats website and order a bespoke meal, featuring a combination of dishes across any of the menus. COVID-safe collections will take place in a specially created waiting area in the courtyard – and for those lucky enough to live within the delivery radius, dishes from some traders can also be ordered via the usual platforms, such as Uber Eats, GoodEats, and Deliveroo.
