The Zetter Group are to open a new hotel at Manchester’s London Road Fire Station. The small hotel and restaurant operator’s other properties include London’s Zetter Townhouses and the Grain Store restaurant. The Zetter Hotel at London Road will be the group’s first operation outside London and will be the fourth hotel in their collection. The hotel and restaurant group often work with extraordinary chefs – such as Bruno Loubet, chef patron at the Grain Store – so hopefully we can expect something special food-wise in Manchester too, while their bar operations have won the group a number of ‘best bar in the world’ awards. The hotel’s designers will be Russell Sage Studios (The Goring Hotel’s Royal Suite, Zetter Townhouses and the Grain Store restaurant). If their London outfits are anything to go by, expect clean lines, quality furnishings and quirky details, such as stuffed bears. The opening date is TBC. Plans for London Road Fire Station also include a cocktail bar, a spa and co working space. Visit the website for more: www.alliedlondon.com
