No Brainer Zine launch party at Kosmonaut

Kosmonaut dips into zine culture tonight as brand new publication No Brainer Zine takes over for its exclusive launch party. Celebrating the best of new and alternative music in Manchester and beyond, the evening will see the showcasing of No Brainer Zine’s first issue – jam-packed with music and art goodness, including an interview with The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr., reviews of the likes of We Are Scientists and much more. The issue also features a unique piece by designer Matt(H)Booth, using sound data from Breton’s track, Envy – with special limited edition prints available to the first 25 guests to arrive. And because no music publication launch would be complete without live performances to match, Sheffield’s O Captain and Manchester-based math rockers Pedro Don Key will also be at hand to get the zine launched in style.
