Northern Quarter Baking Club at a secret location

Following the hype surrounding The Great British Bake Off and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee last year, the nation’s love affair with baking appears to be hotter than ever, with a surge of amateurs reaching for their aprons and foraging through the abandoned corners of their kitchens. The Northern Quarter Baking Club is offering the chance to show off these new-found baking skills as it continues its monthly event – this time with a cheesecake theme. The basic idea: bakers of all ages and abilities get together, armed with a home-made cheesecake of their choice, for an evening of cake tasting and recipe sharing, a few beers and dessert-based chat.
