Joining a roster already thick with musical talent, the latest round of acts announced for Be Here Now, Manchester’s newest multi-venue indie festival, includes everything from rock radio favourites to celebrated Glasto debutants. Taking place across five legendary Northern Quarter venues on Sat (23 Jul), Be Here Now looks primed to explode into prominence within Manchester’s hectically prestigious festival calendar.

Promising a ‘genre-crossing and diverse line-up’, the festival will dispatch its eclectic squad of performers across The Castle Hotel, 33 Oldham Street, Day & Night Cafe, Off The Sq. and Gullivers. In addition to previously-announced acts like Joy Division-esque Leeds outfit Cliche Cults, alt-rock Scots Pizza Crunch and ‘chaotic’ Bristolian punks The Pleasure Dome, Be Here Now has enlisted Britpop revivalist Ynes — currently playing at Glastonbury — and Radio X playlist regular Michael Gallagher, alongside local euphoric indie pop specialists Foxglove and many others.

Check out the full Be Here Now line-up here and, to set up a month of fevered anticipation, work your way through the accompanying artist playlist.
