RAD Screenings and Trof team up this August to present the first annual cinematic all-dayer dedicated to Nicolas Cage. Hosted at Gorilla, this nine-hour marathon will feature ‘the good Cage, the supposed bad Cage, but most important of all we celebrate the act of Nicolas Cage losing his shit’. Kicking off with the Coen Brothers’ 1987 slapstick comedy Raising Arizona at 12.30pm, the event continues with ‘quintessential Cage’ in Con Air at 2.30pm, before an inevitable screening of Face/Off pits Cage against fellow hit-and-miss legend John Travolta at 5pm. The first outing of Cagefest concludes at 7.45pm with the 2006 remake of The Wickerman, which has become an accidental cult comedy legend. Tickets are priced at £15 for the day or £6 per film.

Sun 9 Aug, Gorilla, 54-56 Whitworth Street West, M1 5WW, 12pm – 9.30pm, £15 all day or £6 per film. www.seetickets.com
