The Manchester Irish Festival is now in full swing, with events taking place throughout the city. There’s an Irish bar in Albert Square specialising in various stouts (not just Guinness) until St. Patrick’s Day (Thu 17 Mar). The Square hosts the annual parade (Sun 13 Mar) which sees thousands of people, including dancers and drummers, taking to the streets. The post-parade party is at O’Shea’s on Princess Street, where the musical guests are Green Hot Clover and Molly’s Chambers. For the other events, please see the website below.
