Treetop Adventure Golf, a new, fun-for-all-ages mini-golf course, is now open at The Printworks in Manchester city centre. The complex has two 18-hole courses of less-than-serious sporting fun. The jungle-themed backdrop features a rainforest canopy and crumbling Inca temples. Players will need to battle their way past obstacles such as tree roots, stalagmites, and viper’s tongues to make it to the end. And if you sink the bonus 19th hole, you can win a free round. There’s no need to book: just turn up and tee off. The venue is also available for events such as work do’s, hen nights, and kids’ parties. There’s an in-house cafe with a pizza and snack menu and the bar serves cocktails and all the usual suspects.

Now open, The Printworks, 27 Withy Grove, Manchester, M4 2BS. Tel: 0161 832 9805, 11am-10pm, from £8, www.adventuregolf.com
