Adrift is a series of new daytime DJing sessions aiming to add a summery soundtrack to the South Manchester sunshine. The free monthly event featuring sounds spun by DJ Pip and friends, who’ll supply the sort of laid back vibes that’ll replicate the lazy days haze of a holiday getaway. Throw in Oddest Bar’s cocktails and spirits and you’ve got a recipe for Chorlton’s own seafront setting with waves rolling through to moated sandcastles in time with the beats. Expect a journey through the four corners of cosmic, disco and Balearic records, mixing the coolness of the parasol with the upbeat hipshakers of the beach party. To make your day complete, tuck into a Sunday roast (with a new vegan option also available) or the house special ‘roast salad’ for a lighter take on the classic.
